Is this a browser extension?
The core product direction is a macOS app with OS-level blocking layers. A browser-layer alpha preview exists for local testing, but extensions alone are too easy to bypass and are not the finished product claim.
Can I turn it off?
The product goal is that normal mid-session bypasses do not work. Emergency recovery must exist, but it should be deliberate and hard to abuse.

No. The developer preview is a dry-run CLI and fixture-safe hosts demo. The signed Mac app/helper is the next major milestone.
